Pequeñas coincidencias (2018–2021) unfolds when a spontaneous meet‑cute between a wedding‑dress designer and a gourmet food critic sets off a chain of charming mishaps, missed connections, and romantic “little coincidences” that just might write their love story.
Javi (Javier Veiga) and Marta (Marta Hazas) are a textbook case of opposites attract, repel, and then somehow end up back in each other’s arms – usually with a side of drama and a splash of wine.
Javi is the overthinking, slick-talking dreamer, and Marta is the walk-it-like-I-talk-it firecracker, and neither of these two lonely singles can seem to get their timing – or tempers – just right. But it’s clear from their first encounter that the chemistry between these two is electric. From steamy makeups to cringe-level misunderstandings, they keep us riding the emotional rollercoaster with front-row seats and popcorn in hand.
It’s not about whether they’ll stay together – it’s how long before one of them throws a plate or a punchline.
What works:
This show is shiny. Like, sparkle filter on Instagram shiny. It’s gorgeously shot, totally polished, and practically doubles as a travel ad for Madrid. It’s also dripping with that light, fizzy energy you want in a rom-com. The tone is breezy, the characters are quirky, and the story never takes itself too seriously.
Reality check:
So yeah… realism took a vacation on this one. These characters are living in a rom-com universe where logic and emotional depth go to take a nap. Don’t come looking for gritty truth or relatable drama.
Worth watching?
Totally. If you surrender to the fantasy, you’ll enjoy the ride. It’s cute, it’s stylish, and it goes down easy.
Telebesitos Tip 💋
Watch it for the fashion, the flirting, and the full-on Madrid glam. Warning: may cause spontaneous wanderlust and online shopping for Spanish coats.
