Before he was a world champ, he was just a kid from Palenque with fists of fury and dreams bigger than his barrio. El Kid Pambelé dives gloves-first into the real-life rise of Antonio Cervantes (played by Jarlin Javier Martinez) – a skinny street hustler turned boxing legend, whose knockout came not just in the ring but against every odd life threw at him.
At 27, with one shot left at the title, Antonio steps into the ring against the undefeated Alonzo Frizzo. Nobody bets on the underdog… until one uppercut rewrites history. But behind every punch is a story of family, survival, and a boy who swapped shoe polish and street smoke for gold belts and global fame. Jarlin Martínez brings the heat as the brooding, beautiful brawler whose fists made history and whose past still throws punches of its own.
From the dusty corners of the Malecón to the roar of the crowd, Pambelé brings us a legacy with leather gloves.
