Diana (Sara Maldonado) is a teenage girl who was emotionally neglected by her parents and feels unwanted. After being expelled from her boarding school in Switzerland, she returns to live with her parents. Diana’s aunt, Pilar, witnesses the fighting and tension in the household and offers her solace by letting her live with her. At the mall, Diana meets Braulio (Aarón Díaz), and they keep bumping into each other, especially at school. Braulio, orphaned at twelve, lives with his wicked aunt, kind but oblivious uncle, and cruel cousin, Esteban (Jorge de Silva). Braulio has a friend named Conny (Sherlyn) who is interested in him, but he is not attracted to her. Braulio later discovers Diana comes from a rich background, leading to their breakup. Diana unknowingly dates Esteban, Braulio’s cousin. The plot also involves Aunt Pilar reuniting with her long-lost love, Álvaro, who works at the school, and the complications that arise from their relationships.
