Separadas (2020) throws us headfirst into a stylish emotional rollercoaster as a shady real estate con tears through the lives of seven women who couldn’t be more different – and yet suddenly, they’re all in the same sinking boat. From high-powered divas to everyday queens, each of them is left picking up the pieces (and seriously side-eyeing whoever left the betrayal breadcrumbs).
What begins as a financial disaster quickly spirals into full-blown identity crises, found-family vibes, and some very novela-level twists. Think girlboss energy meets survival mode, with a whole lot of heels, heartbreak, and Oh no he didn’t moments along the way.
Major bummer that the pandemic hit and pressed pause on the drama just as it was heating up – but even unfinished, Separadas delivered fresh femme power, chaos couture, and the kind of betrayal that makes you want to clutch your pearls. Alexa, play “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child.
