Don’t let the beard and seaside vibes fool you – Baltazar Rodríguez (Francisco Reyes) is not your average grandpa. After surviving a heart attack (like a boss), this salty patriarch is ready to flip the script on aging, take care of his farm, and maybe, just maybe, win back the heart of Margarita (Amparo Noguera), the town’s favorite nun and low-key his forever crush.
And just when you think Baltazar might pull it off, the family drama starts brewing harder than grandma’s cafecito. His daughter Antonia wants to help him heal with love and patience, but his two sons see dollar signs dancing where the cows graze. Hijos Mariano (Gabriel Cañas) and Gabriel (Simón Pešutić) are ready to cash out the family land while their dad’s still catching his breath.
It’s a spicy mix of second chances, generational battles, and scandalous romance in the least likely of places: a sleepy coastal farm. Who knew retirement could come with this much drama and divine longing?
