Welcome to the fictional Buenos Aires villa, La 1-5/18 – where the buildings may be humble, but the community’s heart is anything but.
In this fierce little corner of the world renamed by residents “La Peñaloza“, neighbors from all walks of life serve looks, spill secrets, and hold each other down through thick and thin. It’s all about survival, solidarity, and a lot of sass.
At the center of it all is Lola (Agustina Cherri) and Rita (Lali González) – a power duo who run the local comedor like queens of the block. Armed with local ladles and legendary patience, they dish out meals and real talk in equal measure. But this isn’t just about beans and rice, it’s about fighting for justice when the system turns its back, and about lifting each other up when the world lets you down. They’re living out loud, no matter who tries to silence them.
Get ready for tears, laughs, and some serious slayage, because in La 1-5/18, community isn’t just a word – it’s a revolution.
