In Telemundo’s Al Otro Lado del Muro, Eliza (Litzy) has stars in her eyes and dreams bigger than Texas, while Sofía (Marjorie de Sousa) is running from danger with secrets that could blow up lives. They don’t know each other – yet – but fate’s already packed their bags for the same wild, high-stakes trip across the border from Mexico to the U.S.
Eliza is escaping poverty, Sofía is escaping something way darker (think: scandal and danger in the form of a very powerful, very vengeful ex). But in the messy hustle to keep their children safe and build a life from scratch, these women become accidental warriors – fighting for survival, dignity, and something that almost feels like sisterhood.
Set against the real-life grind of immigration, this telenovela doesn’t shy away from the harsh truths – but add a little glamour, betrayal, and heart-thumping twists, and you’ve got a story that hits hard and hugs tighter. Family is complicated, loyalties are shaky, and hope refuses to quit. Al otro lado del muro is messy, it’s emotional, and it’s the kind of drama that lingers long after the credits roll. You’re gonna need tissues for this one.
