Back in the ’90s, Paquita Salas was running Hollywood (well, Madrid) – queen of talent, red carpet diva, fax machine on fire. Fast-forward and the industry’s ghosted her, the glam’s gone, but Paquita’s still out here rocking her fax machine like it’s 1997. When her star client finally dumps her, it should be game over… but Paquita’s too delusional (and fabulous) to quit.
Cue the chaos as Paquita (Brays Efe), with her endlessly loyal (and questionably tech-savvy) assistant Magüi (Belén Cuesta), scrambles to stay relevant in a world ruled by influencers and TikTok teens. From disastrous auditions to diva meltdown rescues, Paquita’s on a mission to snatch victory from the jaws of irrelevance – and maybe even find some unexpected stars along the way.
Paquita Salas is a comeback story full of throwback flair, diva-level delusion, and tons of corazón. For Paquita, the drama stays high, the wig stays messy, and surrender has never been on brand.
Telebesitos Tip 💋
Paquita Salas is like if The Office met RuPaul’s Drag Race and they had a Spanish baby. If the opening 10 minutes of episode one don’t already have you smiling, it’s probably not your vibe. Paquita is gloriously chaotic and deliciously awkward, serving a very specific brand of cringe-comedy that won’t be everyone’s cup of cafecito.
